We are an independent retail plant nursery in Mixbury, North Oxfordshire. We grow and sell the best quality plants and provide an amazing experience that inspires every visitor to achieve their dream garden.

Welcome to Swallows Nurseries & Gardens

We aim to give our customers the best quality plants and advice, in an inspiring and beautiful environment. We grow our own shrubs, as well as border and bedding plants – all peat-free – and have a great selection of trees and topiary on offer.

Need a tree for your garden?

We have a good selection of ornamental garden  and fruit trees for sale from our Tree Lines. And if you can’t find what you need, we are happy to source and offer a quote. Phone us between 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday or send us a message via our enquiry form.

WINTER OPENING

We are open for all visitors to the Nursery & Gardens and Cafe.

Tuesday to Sunday: 10am to 4pm. Mondays closed.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm during which we can respond to phone enquiries.

Come and enjoy a fabulous cup of coffee made by our expert baristas! Try some truly delicious Nordic cakes.

Nordic sandwiches served Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Our wood burner is in full swing, and you can be assured of ‘Hygge’ (Danish cosiness) during your visit.

Winter Opening Times:

Open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am-4pm

On Tuesdays 10am-4pm we offer our Standard coffee and cakes. Mondays Closed.
